For us Frisians, this is the time of day when we devote ourselves to the Frisian tea ceremony. A cup of East Frisian tea relaxes or invigorates, gives strength or comfort, warms or refreshes – just as you need it. It’s best when you have company and can have a quiet natter. Speaking of ‘peace and quiet’, the meditative aspects of a typical East Frisian tea time should not be underestimated. Here, too, a certain ‘art of slowness’ applies. Treat yourself to a delicious slice of cake or tart. Freshly baked with lots of love from our bakery. That’s the life!
