For us Frisians, this is the time of day when we devote ourselves to the Frisian tea ceremony. A cup of East Frisian tea relaxes or invigorates, gives strength or comfort, warms or refreshes – just as you need it. It’s best when you’ve got company and can have a quiet natter. Speaking of ‘quiet’, the meditative aspects of a typical East Frisian tea time shouldn’t be underestimated. Here, too, there’s a certain ‘art of slowness’ at play. Treat yourself to a delicious slice of cake or tart. Freshly baked with lots of love from our bakery. Now that’s the life!
