In a family, the little ones get the most attention - why shouldn't this also be the case in a company? That's exactly what our Managing Director Bodo Janssen thought when he first presented his idea of "The Tour of Life" in January 2015.
Children and young people are told thousands of times what they can't do before they turn 18. However, there should be a change in thinking and it should be emphasised what young people can do.
Prejudices that are often held against young people need to be overcome by believing in our trainees and giving them opportunities.
The "Tour of Life" is now an integral part of our training programme. We want to show our trainees what they are capable of, that they can jump over their shadows and encourage them. In future, the Tour of Life is planned to take place every two years.
Climb Kilimanjaro with other trainees, conquer the Newtontoppen glacier peak or do charitable work in Rwanda: YOU also have the opportunity to embark on your very own Tour of Life.
